What is my role as a parent?
Advocacy: Parents can advocate for their child's needs ensuring they
receive appropriate accommodations and support services.
Education: Educate themselves about ADHD and better support their
child.
Structured Environment: Providing a structured and consistent
environment at home helps children with ADHD manage their
symptoms effectively.
Communication: Maintaining open communication with teachers,
healthcare providers, and other caregivers to monitor progress and
adjust interventions as needed.
Emotional Support: Offering emotional support and encouragement to
their child, thereby promoting self-esteem and resilience.
