Prosthesis: If there is a residual cleft even after the
surgery of the oralstructures, prosthesis will be
provided in order to improve the functions of the oral
structures for feeding as well as for proper
pronunciation.
Speechtherapy: A speech language pathologist
mainly focuses on improving the strength of the oral
structures in order to perform both non- speech and
speech tasks such as sucking, blowing and producing
pressure sounds such as/pa/,/ba/,/sa/and soon during
speech therapy. This is usually accomplished by
teaching various oro-motor exercises to improve
articulation
