dc.description.abstract The aim of this preliminary study was to examine the efficacy of mindfulness-based cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) for enhancing communication attitude, quality of life, self-esteem and speech fluency in adults who stutter. A pre-post interventional design was employed.The sample consisted of 5 adults with the diagnosis of stuttering. The therapeutic program included 15-20 sessions of one hour each.
