Compatibility Notes:

* Installing this release's plug-in is not required for continued use of Cite While You Write in Word, the Internet Explorer toolbar, or Firefox toolbar. EndNote Web plug-in versions 1.2 and later are compatible with this release. You can confirm the plug-in version installed on your computer from Windows' Add/Remove Programs.

* If you have EndNote X.0.2 or later installed, you do not have to install the EndNote Web plug-in to use Cite While You Write. Cite While You Write installed with those EndNote versions supports connectivity to EndNote Web libraries.

* If you have EndNote X installed, you may encounter issues with Cite While You Write and transfer with the desktop due to an EndNote Web update to support SSL. Installing the latest EndNote Web plug-in will resolve these issues.

Documentation Notes:

* The EndNote Web Help system is available from the "Help" link in the upper right corner of the EndNote Web application.

II. INSTALLATIONS

* If you are new to EndNote Web and are using Cite While You Write for the first time, you will need to configure your login information. See Help's Cite While You Write Preferences topic for more information.

Upgrade Notes:

* Upgrading from an Earlier Version
Uninstall your older EndNote Web plug-in by going to "Start > Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall A Program."

Admin Notes:

* Mass Installations and Group Policy for Windows
EndNote Web provides an MSI installer on the Download Installers page for administrators in a network environment. This installer supports mass installation and installation using Group Policy. Refer to EndNote Web Help for more information.
